Darleen is a nurse with a BSC and a BSCN, who has worked in Peru and the Dominican Republic.  She has three children, two cats and one dog. She was drawn into the environmental movement by the events on Burnaby Mountain in 2014, and feels a deep need to protect the orcas and the ocean they live in.  She is a team captain in her current home town of Maple Ridge.
