Our Organizing Intensive training is a great opportunity to learn the skills to create grassroots, people-powered change on any issue and at any scale imaginable. Our training is based on years of experience in building grassroots movements and planning effective, urgent campaigns. The curriculum will leave you energized and ready to create change in your community, while practical demonstrations and exercises will give you the confidence to get a running start!
You’ll emerge armed with a solid grounding in the theory and practice of:
- Organizing 101: why do we build community power?
- Storytelling and recruitment: how do we get people excited about our work?
- Building strong teams: what makes a team tick?
- Growing constituencies and allies: how do we grow our power?
- Strategy Sessions: Goals, Strategies, & Tactics: how do we make our campaigns effective?
The event will run from 10:00am - 6:00pm on Saturday, February 1st. Space is limited, so please click here to get your tickets. The cost is $25.00 for general admission, $15 for students and there are scholarships available (no questions asked).
