While climate change affects all of us and we know we have to do something about it, this can be a daunting task and it’s hard to know where to start.  Everyone who has ever worked on stopping fossil fuel expansion has at some point heard the question, “...but what are you fighting for?” 

That’s why the organizers of the Great Climate Race came up with a running event series that enables participants to crowdfund for local renewable energy projects. A portion of the entry fee for every participant plus all the money crowdfunded by participants from their supporters will go to the Great Climate Race non-profit Renewable Energy Fund.
